DC: No Pride for some of us without Liberation for all of us

This Pride season, in light of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, we as queer and trans people in the DMV area demand the organizations who claim to represent us: Capital Pride, Human Rights Campaign, GLAAD, and others divest from, and cut ties with, weapons manufacturers like Raytheon, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Elbit, Airbus, and General Dynamics. We also call on them to stand with the radical values of Pride and not only call for a ceasefire, but to put an end to their complicity in pinkwashing tactics. As Marsha P. Johnson said, “no Pride for some of us without Liberation for all of us.” There can be no Pride without liberation for LGBTQ+ Palestinians.
